The Delaware Quarter Horse Youth Association welcomes young horse handlers and riders to join in on the fun and activities, youth horse show classes, trail riding, and/or volunteering for the organization.  All DQHYA members must also be members of DQHA and be less than 18 years of age.  All age groups are determined as of January.   

 

DQHA horse shows offer English and Western riding classes, showmanship, and halter for youth exhibitors.  Age divisions include Lead Line (8 and under), Small Fry (Walk/Trot/Jog only) age  11 and under, 13 and Under, and Novice or Amateur Youth (18 and Under)
