The DQHA provides a competitive show circuit for exhibitors from the Eastern Shore and beyond.   If you are looking to compete at one of our AQHA approved shows, see our event calendar, year end requirements, and/or futurity information.

 

Year End Award Requirements

 

If you are looking to compete for year end awards, you must fulfill the following requirements.  The annual DQHA banquet is held in February of each year. 

1. Become a DQHA member prior to your first pointed show.

2. Submit the registered and/or non-registered point forms and pay fees prior to your first pointed show.  See forms page.

3. Attend at least half of the DQHA shows, including the Summer Sun Circuit.  See calendar for details.

4. Attend a minimum of 2 DQHA meetings.  We invite you to attend them all and become a volunteer.  See calendar dates.

5. Know your DQHA point rules and point system

6. Out-of-state AQHA approved shows may be submitted for year end within specified guidelines. (See point rules.)
